St. Brown, Goff Highest PFF-Graded Lions against Chargers
The Detroit Lions didn't play a complete game against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 10. Defense was a struggle in the second half against the potent Chargers offense.
However, the effort offensively ultimately made up for the shortcomings on the other side. The Lions used aggressiveness to outlast the Chargers, winning, 41-38, on a last-second field goal from Riley Patterson.
Wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown collected a career-high 156 receiving yards. It was his fourth consecutive 100-yard game.
He currently ranks eighth in receiving yards with 821, and has four touchdowns.
“He’s a stud. He just continues to make plays. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, he is the most steady, reliable guy that you can find in this league,” said Dan Campbell. “I’d like to know somebody that is more reliable than him. Because I don’t know if there is. He just does what he’s supposed to do times 10. He’s productive, he’s tough, he’s physical, he’s a game-changing type player. It’s just, the bigger the moment, the bigger he shows up. You talk about that word trust, there’s a tremendous amount of trust for him, in him, and what he’s able to do. And, Goff has a ton of trust in him, as well. He’s a stud. It’s that simple.”
