Why Former Lions QB Matthew Stafford Has Major Beef with Entourage Star
The podcasting world has seen a dramatic boom in the past several years.
Being new to running a podcast can leave some potentially prone to being taken advantage of.
According to Kelly Stafford, working with former "Entourage" star Kevin Connolly proved to be quite disappointing.
Matthew Stafford's wife shared that she was allegedly taken advantage, and shared messages with a member of Barstool Sports, intending to share a similar tale of not being compensated fairly.
Kelly Stafford direct messaged "Jersey Jerry" the following: "Did my podcast under him at action park for a year.. Super Bowl year. Had a merch drop that sold out in 48 hours and got paid ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. My husband wants to beat his ass, but I'd rather see what happens to him in prison."
Those new in broadcasting or running their own operation sometimes are not fully aware of how contracts work or what to even ask for when negotiating deals with major podcast networks.
"I didn't want to say anything, because I didn't want the first year in L.A. to be about me, starting a war with a celebrity," Stafford shared. "But, my show completely sold out every show, and I got nothing. Was thinking about suing him for all of it but instead, I just told him I wanted the RSS feed to my podcast, because I didn't realize that I didn't even know that."
Matthew Stafford had a 12-year run in Motown before requesting to be traded.
After joining the Rams, the veteran signal-caller was able to win a Super Bowl.
The television star may truly need an "entourage," should he run into the Staffords or others he allegedly took advantage of financially.
