A collection of what was said following Detroit's 25-7 loss to Jacksonville.

Here's a collection of what was said following the Detroit Lions' 25-7 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars:

Dan Campbell

On what he needs to see from Brodric Martin, Colby Sorsdal and Antoine Green: "We just need to feel consistent growth. As long as you feel these players growing and they're continuing to get better every week and we're not doing this and then we take this big step back and then these baby steps up and then you take another leap backwards, that, I think, is what we're looking for. I would say all three of those guys, I feel growth. Now, we're all gonna want it in warp speed time, but I do feel growth by all three of those guys. But, man, when you're a rookie, there's a lot going out there, so they've just got to keep working, keep correcting it. They can't get down in the dumps. When things don't go your way, you've gotta keep your confidence, and just worry about the work and what your coaches are saying."

James Houston

On the adjustment to playing SAM linebacker: "I feel like I've took a step forward in this game, as far as playing the run, even dropping back in pass, in coverage. Every time I get out there, it's a learning lesson. I'm just glad to be getting the reps, getting experience. I feel like it's really helpful for me and kind of where I want to go in my career."

Nate Sudfeld

On if he knew when he was going to replace Teddy Bridgewater in Saturday's game: "Not necessarily. I was just on call and didn't know when I was gonna go in, if it was gonna be first quarter, second quarter. Before the previous drive, they said, 'Teddy's gonna go one more.' So, yeah, I was just ready to go."

On what he learned on the two-minute drill that ended in an interception: "The two-minute drill before the half, I wish I would've done things different on that dagger throw. Maybe trying to do more than I should do, just take completions, trying to get into a rhythm, try to get the first down. I think we got one first down. It's a long way to go, and the difference between the end of the game, when you have to have it, and the end of the half, where points would be great but you want to end with the ball, that's objective number one. Good learning experience, but yeah, it was good to play."

Chase Cota

On if he believes he's shown the coaches what he's capable of: "I feel like yes. In practice, some days, you get a lot of opportunities, and some days, the ball doesn't come your way as much. But, I feel like when it does, I'm always on top of everything, and I know what I'm doing so I'm always confident. And, I feel like I've definitely given them confidence. Hopefully, we can keep it going this last week and a half of preseason."

Steven Gilmore

On how it feels to get an interception in an NFL game: "Shout out to my boy Tracy (Walker). He was over top, he had help for me. He really caught it himself, so it just tipped to me. I was in the right place at the right time, so I'm just thankful, you know."
