Prop Bets: Panthers vs. Falcons

Which Panthers bets make the most sense for their Week 15 tilt vs. the Falcons?

Each week, I'll give a handful of prop bets or parlays pertaining to that week's Carolina Panthers game. I've already made my picks for the side and total for Carolina vs. Atlanta, which you can view below.

Here are this week's prop bets and parlays (odds via FanDuel):

First half total: Under 16.5

The Panthers have scored exactly three points in the first half in each of their last four games. This is an atrocious offense, especially in the first half of games. On the season, they tied for 28th in first half scoring, averaging seven points per first half. Atlanta is only two spots higher at 8.3. Factor in some sloppy weather and we may see both of these teams stick under double digits halfway through.

First half winner/end of regulation winner parlay: Atlanta Falcons - Atlanta Falcons (+120)

Carolina is 3-9-1 in terms of winning the first half. The last time they did so came on Thursday night in Week 9 against the Chicago Bears. Atlanta has led at the half in four of its last five games. Considering the Panthers have won just one game this season, we can pretty much say half of this parlay is already in good shape.

Tommy Tremble receiving yards: Over 12.5

It's been over a month since Tremble has gone over this total but if there's ever a week it's going to happen, it's this week. Hayden Hurst is on IR with a concussion and Ian Thomas is out with an ankle injury. Carolina is thin at the tight end spot, so by default Tremble should get more action in the passing game. Plus, I don't expect many deep shots this Sunday with the inclement weather. Several checkdowns.
