Patriots 'Brainwashed!' Matthew Judon vs. Asante Samuel in Bill Belichick Debate

Patriots ... "Brainwashed''? We don't know about that. But all of those Judon sacks and all of those Belichick rings? They certainly can be hypnotic, that is for sure.
In this story:

Asante Samuel was not happy playing for coach Bill Belichick in New England, even though the Patriots won two Super Bowls during his time here.

And now he cannot let go of the belief that nobody else in New England should be happy, either.

Recently, Samuel jumped in on the rumors linking Ravens QB Lamar Jackson to the Patriots. Samuel wrote to the MVP, "Lamar Jackson, my brother trust me you don’t want to play for Belichick.''

Matthew Judon, who has 28 sacks in two seasons while starring in Belichick’s system, came to the defense of the coach and this system by instructing Samuel to "Hush up.''

Samuel's response?

"You are just a little brainwashed right now,'' he fired back. "Wake up and talk!”

Samuel played for the Patriots from 2003-07 and has long had a difference of opinion when it comes to how Belichick coached him. Over the years, Samuel has taken shots at the "culture'' of the team under Belichick's leadership, especially following the departure of Tom Brady left the team.

In the end, there is something about Judon's productivity as a player that suggests that Belichick, at some level, knows what he's doing. And in the end, there's something about Samuel's productivity while he was here that says the same thing.

"Brainwashed''? We don't know about that. But all of those sacks and all of those rings? They certainly can be hypnotic, that is for sure.
