Patriots AFC East Rival Graces Madden 24

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has been chosen as the cover athlete for Madden 24, a decision that may not sit well with New England Patriots fans.

In a development that could potentially further rattle New England Patriots fans, Buffalo Bills' quarterback Josh Allen has now secured the esteemed title of Madden cover athlete.

On Wednesday morning, Allen took to Twitter to share the news that he would be gracing the cover of Madden 24, the highly anticipated next installment of the renowned video game franchise. This achievement holds even greater significance as Allen becomes the first player in Bills history to don the cover of the video game.

During a conversation with Sports Illustrated, the Bills' quarterback expressed his gratitude for the honor and shared his thoughts on adorning the cover of a game he cherished as a child.

“It’s such a dream come true for me,” Allen said. “The dream was always to play in the NFL, but growing up and playing Madden and having so many different experiences and memories of playing with my brother and my dad on this great game, and now to be on the cover, it’s pretty surreal.”

The selection of Allen as the Madden cover athlete deals another blow to the Patriots, a team known for its sustained dominance in the AFC East. As they assess the landscape of their division, the Patriots now face the challenge of competing against an array of stars like New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, and Allen.

Rob Gronkowski (2017) and Tom Brady (2018, 2022) are Patriots that have been on the cover of Madden.
