Foxboro or Frankfurt: Tickets on Sale Next Week for Patriots' Germany Game

The New England Patriots' rugged 2023 schedule features only two slam-dunk wins in "home" games.

Want to attend a New England Patriots' home game in 2023 in which you're (almost) assured of watching a victory?

A) Clear your schedule for early November.

B) Be in Foxboro when the Washington Commanders visit Gillette Stadium.

C) Pack for Germany.

Despite finishing 8-9 and missing the playoffs last season, the Pats have a rugged schedule this season. Coming to Foxboro are the Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints, Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs and New York Jets. Outside of maybe the Saints and new quarterback Derek Carr, the Pats will be underdogs or less-than-a-field-goal favorite against the other visitors.

That leaves you two options:

Nov. 5 vs. the Commanders, who will feature at quarterback either second-year Sam Howell or journeyman Jacoby Brissett.

Nov. 12 in Germany vs. the Indianapolis Colts, who will feature at quarterback either career backup Sam Ehlinger or rookie Anthony Richardson.

Barring a disaster, the Pats will be favored in both games. Now, the decision is to be in Foxboro or Frankfurt?

The Pats will technically be the "home" team when they play the Colts at Frankfurt’s Deutsche Bank Park. Getting a ticket to see the game is doable, but takes some planning. Because it's an international venue, the ticketing procedure will differ from traditional NFL games. The league recently revealed how the process will work.

The first and most important thing you need to know about 2023 Frankfurt Games tickets is that you need to register for tickets before they go on sale later this year.

General admission tickets for the first NFL Frankfurt Games at the Frankfurt Stadium will go on sale Tuesday June 27 at 12pm (CEST). Two weeks later on Tuesday July 11 at 12pm (CEST) general admission tickets for the second NFL Frankfurt Game will go on sale.

If you plan on going to Germany, hopefully you registered by the June 16 deadline.
