Revis reports to Jets' facility for physical
The Sports Xchange -- Cornerback Darrelle Revis reported to Jets' headquarters Thursday as veterans were scheduled for physicals and conditioning tests.
Revis hinted at a contract holdout with $13.5 million remaining on his current deal, which expires after the 2013 season. That deal was signed after Revis held out for all of August and into September. The 36-day holdout ended with a four-year, $46 million deal that includes a clause prohibiting the Jets from using the franchise designation to retain Revis after next season.
Given head coach Rex Ryan's bombastic praise for Revis -- he's called him the NFL MVP on multiple occasions -- the Jets are unlikely to allow Revis to reach the end of his existing contract.
The Jets are scheduled to be transported to Cortland, which is nearly three hours from the team's Florham Park, N.J., facility, with check-in Thursday evening.
