Last week, we reported that the Las Vegas Raiders had added defensive lineman David Ebuka Agoha through the NFL International Player Pathway Program.

Considering the prospect comes from Nigeria and has not had an opportunity to showcase his talents on U.S. soil publicly, Raider Nation won't know a whole lot about what they're getting in the 6-foot-5, 245-pound force up front.

"Educational Basketball," a program that helped develop Ebuka Agoha in Africa, recently tweeted an interview with the new Raider, who gave some insight into who he is and his journey to football.

"I played a lot of sports when I was little," Ebuka Agoha said in the video. "I played soccer, ... I did a little bit of boxing."

Ebuka Agoha said he then got into the game of basketball during the COVID-19 lockdown.

He played for the Invaders of Ado Ekiti of Nigeria's Premiere Basketball League.

Then, Ebuka Agoha was noticed for the potential he could have on the gridiron.

"They told me I could have a future in football because of my size, my height, my athleticism," the prospect said. "So I tried it out and now we're here."

The video was recorded before Las Vegas had picked up Ebuka Agoha. Even so, he had high standards for himself before he earned himself the opportunity.

"I see myself being one of the top players in the NFL [in the next five to 10 years]," Ebuka Agoha said. "I see myself being a Pro Bowler, maybe a Super Bowl -- not maybe -- a Super Bowl."

The confidence is all there.
