Some Remaining Options for Raiders in the NFL Draft

The Las Vegas Raiders still have great options on the board in the last four rounds of the 2023 NFL Draft.
In this story:

The Las Vegas Raiders made three selections on day two of the 2023 NFL Draft and still have eight picks they can make in the final four rounds.

Day three of the draft is the day where teams fill out the rest of their roster and sometimes find diamonds in the rough who turn out to be immediate quality contributors, sometimes even stars, like in defensive end Maxx Crosby’s case.

Lots of talent that many draft analysts expected to be off the board by now still remains, so let’s take a closer look at a few players the Raiders could select with their day three picks.

Northwestern defensive lineman Adetomiwa Adeboware -- Adetomiwa Adeboware was a projected first round pick by a few outlets, so it’s fairly surprising to still see him still on the board. He might still be available due to the fact that teams may not know what his full-time position is, whether it’s on the interior or the edge. Either way, Adeboware is an explosive athlete who can get to the quarterback and stop the run.

South Carolina cornerback Darius Rush -- A tall, lengthy corner who likes to tackle, Rush gained a lot of momentum in weeks leading up to the draft, but remains on the board into day three. While he is athletic, he is not the best cover corner and has tight hips. The Raiders could draft Rush and help him with his fluidity.

Georgia defensive back Kelee Ringo -- A player who before the season was expected to go in the top 10, Ringo has taken a pretty considerable tumble. He possesses ideal size and athleticism, but not the best technique that NFL teams would want at the cornerback position. Ringo’s best bet might be a move to safety, as he could then thrive in a more free-flowing role.
