Rams Coach Sean McVay: Best Recruiter in NFL?
The Los Angeles Rams have been able to make quite a few moves in free agency, and that comes as a result of the great recruiting talents of head coach Sean McVay.
The team has made some solid additions such as young and upcoming safety Kamren Curl, tight end Colby Parkinson, and solid backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, among others.
The common theme between all of these players is the fact that they have all said that McVay was a deciding factor in them choosing Los Angeles. The 38-year-old coach is known as one of the best minds that the league has to offer, and a lot of players would like to be on the same sideline as him.
One of the key factors in making a decision as a free agent is seeing which coaches you would like to play for. If a team does not have a head coach who is appealing to incoming guys, then they are a lot less likely to get the free agents that they want.
Said newcomer Kamren Curl, signed away from Washington, of the L.A. draw: "Really just his football mind. Just seeing stuff here and there, him talking about the game and explaining stuff. It's just like he lives football. ...
"You can just tell we're ready to run through a brick wall for him, so that's the type of guys I want to play for."

Thankfully, the Rams have no worries when it comes to the coach as a lure, as McVay is one of the most respected coaches in the NFL. The Rams players would, it seems, do almost anything for their head coach, and that is because he would do anything for them.
The Rams will be looking to make the playoffs again and contend this year, and if they do, McVay's magnetism as a recruiter and as a coach will be a reason why.
