Rams Safety Kamren Curl 'Ready To Run Through Brick Wall' for Sean McVay
The Los Angeles Rams needed some help with their secondary last year, and they got that help in free agency a couple of days ago.
The team signed free agent safety Kamren Curl to help out with the defense, and that adds to their already young defensive core. The 24-year-old defensive back talked about what he likes about head coach Sean McVay and how excited he is to play for him in his recent presser.
"Really just his football mind," Curl said. "Just seeing stuff here and there, him talking about the game and explaining stuff. It's just like he lives football. That's what you want, a guy that's all about football. And the energy he brings on the sideline and just the way the players who play for him play. You can just tell we're ready to run through a brick wall for him, so that's the type of guys I want to play for."
McVay is year in and year out considered one of the best coaches in the NFL, and he has been praised by many of his peers as one of the best minds that the league has to offer.
How Free Agency Affects Los Angeles Rams' First Round Pick
Curl will fit right into the existing defensive system of Chris Shula and McVay, as he is a versatile player that can be put into multiple different spots to keep offenses guessing. he will be looking to help the Rams improve on that side of the ball and contend this season.
