The Los Angeles Rams enter the 2023 NFL Draft starting with the No. 36 overall pick, and have their eyes on TCU standout running back Kendre Miller.

According to a report from KPRC 2 in Houston, the Rams are set to host Miller on a visit ahead of the draft.

The Rams are one of several visits Miller has planned in the coming days, alongside the Saints, Giants, Cowboys, Texans, Dolphins and others.

For the Rams, however, this visit could prove to be particularly interesting.

Why?

The running game is one of several areas needing immediate improvement for the Rams.

Last season, the Rams finished 27th in the NFL in rushing yards, 29th in first downs, and finished tied for the fifth worst in the league in yards per carry.

Meanwhile in Fort Worth, Miller went for 1,399 rushing yards and scored 17 touchdowns in his 2022 season at TCU, averaging 6.2 yards per carry along the way.

He also snagged 16 receptions for 116 receiving yards, showing himself a capable pass-catcher, and helped TCU to a Fiesta Bowl win along the way.

However, that win came with a cost, as Miller sprained his MCL and was forced to miss the National Championship game against Georgia, which TCU would go on to lose in a 65-7 blowout.

That said, the injury is reportedly healing speedily, giving the Rams reason to look closely at the dynamic running back with just over three weeks before the start of the draft.

And despite those health concerns, Miller's talent and production displayed at TCU could be exactly what the Rams need to fix those issues.
