Where Do Los Angeles Rams Land in Latest NFL Power Rankings?

Where do the Los Angeles Rams find themselves in the NFL's pecking order after Sunday's close win?
In this story:

The Los Angeles Rams picked up a much-needed win on Sunday, knocking off the Seattle Seahawks 17-16 at home to break a three-game losing streak.

The Rams were not perfect in all aspects of the game, but they picked up the gritty win in Matthew Stafford's return at quarterback from injury, keeping hopes alive for a late-season turnaround. How did Sunday's win affect L.A.'s standing in the NFL power rankings?

Sports Illustrated released its updated list for the NFL on Tuesday, and the Rams come in at No. 24 out of the league's 32 teams. You can read an excerpt from the piece below, complete with some praise of rookie wideout Puka Nacua.

"Who on earth is signing up to cover that guy on a down-by-down basis? He appears to be staring through one’s soul. Anyway, good for the Rams. We all need a missed field goal to bounce our way every now and then."

Nacua finished the game on Sunday as the Rams' leading receiver with 70 yards on five receptions.

Sunday's win may not amount to much in the grand scheme of things for the Rams, but it also could serve as a catalyst for a late run towards a postseason berth. Los Angeles now holds a 4-6 record, which is nothing to write home about, but this week's win was an important one, especially given how the Rams were able to make it happen.

Sean McVay Praises 'Unbelievable Effort' by Rams Defense vs. Seahawks

L.A.'s offense looked stagnant for the better part of three quarters on Sunday, but they managed to do just enough late in the game to capture the division win. Head coach Sean McVay was understandably proud of his team's response late in the game to secure the win, but now, it's up to the Rams to keep the momentum going if they hope to right the ship in 2023.

Los Angeles will remain in division play this week when they travel to face the Arizona Cardinals. Kickoff is slated for 1:05 p.m. PT, and the game will be televised on FOX.
