Full Rams Schedule Released by NFL; Tough Road Ahead?

The NFL has released the full schedule for the Los Angeles Rams, and it could be another bumpy road for Sean McVay and Co.
In this story:

We now know where and when the Los Angeles Rams will be playing in 2023.

On Thursday night, the NFL released the full schedule for the entire league, including the Rams, who are looking to bounce back to Super Bowl contention after a frustrating 5-12 season in 2022.

Unfortunately for Sean McVay and Co., it may end up being another tough year, however, with their schedule ranking as the ninth toughest in the league.

Per NFL Research, the Rams' opponents finished 2022 with a 152-133-2 record, which is good for a 53.3 win percentage.

To make things even tougher for L.A., a good portion of their top players from last season, including Jalen Ramsey, A'Shawn Robinson, Allen Robinson, Bobby Wagner, Nick Scott, and more have made their way to new homes via either trade or free agency.

As a result, the Rams entered the free agency period with the lowest number of players on a roster under contract in the NFL with 44 - less than half of the off-season limit. And in the NFL Draft, they did their best to up that number, drafting 14 players, which was the most in the league.

However, the roster restructure didn't stop there, with the Rams signing a whopping 24 undrafted free agents after the conclusion of the draft. In other words, as things stand right now, at least 38 players on the Rams' 90-man roster during offseason workouts will be in their first year in the NFL.

In other words, so many new faces, and so little experience, in combination with a tough schedule, could spell trouble for the Rams.
