Rams Ernest Jones 'Wants All The Smoke' With Steph Curry

Los Angeles Rams linebacker Ernest Jones is calling out Warriors star Steph Curry, but not for what you might think.
In this story:

Los Angeles Rams linebacker Ernest Jones has picked up a serious new interest this offseason - the game of golf.

And now he is challenging one of the NBA's best players, Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry, to a competition.

"It’s gonna be over for him," Jones said of Curry while mic'd up on NFL Network. "I’m calling him out. I want it. I want all the smoke. I want it.”

Curry, of course, has made quite the name for himself this summer on the golf course, winning the American Century Championship - a celebrity gold tournament - two weeks ago.

But, it wasn't just the fact that he won the tournament that got people talking. It was the way he did it, knocking in a hole-in-one on Saturday, and sealing his win with an Eagle putt on Sunday.

Jones meanwhile, started his new golf 'addiction' this offseason, after watching Charlie Woods, the son of all-time great Tiger Woods in a tournament.

For most new golfers, it takes time, sometimes decades, to master the game.

However, despite his lack of experience in the sport, Jones has an end goal in mind - knocking Curry off of his pedestal.

"I’m not there, but give me a year," Joes said. It’s gonna be a problem. Steph Curry’s gonna have to see about me. I want him to know right now when I get it, I got it."
