LOOK: Rams Reveal Week 2 Uniforms vs. 49ers
The Los Angeles Rams plan to wear their white jerseys in Week 2, as they welcome the San Francisco 49ers to SoFi Stadium for their home opener.
Prior to the start of the season, the Rams unveiled their full jersey schedule, which includes eight games with the white tops. This will be the second week in a row that the Rams rock their white jerseys to open the season, as they also did in a Week 1 road victory over the Seattle Seahawks. However, after Sunday afternoon, the Rams won't wear the white tops again until they travel to Dallas to face off with the Cowboys in Week 8.
Los Angeles has not announced which pants they plan to wear in Week 2, however. In the aforementioned victory last Sunday at Lumen Field, the Rams wore their blue pants which feature a gradient white and yellow stripe down each side. The Rams could go back to that well again in Week 2, but they also have the option of wearing yellow pants that feature a white and blue stripe down the side.
Quarterback Brock Purdy and the San Francisco 49ers will counter with their scarlet uniform tops, gold pants and gold helmets. The 49ers wore white uniform tops in Week 1, when they delivered quite the statement by defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers 30-7 at Acrisure Stadium.
Despite pulling off a Week 1 upset in Seattle, the Rams are currently seven-point underdogs for their first home game of the season. Given that the Rams will travel to Cincinnati for a Monday Night Football matchup with quarterback Joe Burrow and the Bengals in Week 3, there's a good chance they'll be underdogs again next week.
