Rams BREAKING: Cooper Kupp Undergoes Overnight MRI

Cooper Kupp underwent an MRI on his hamstring, and now “caution” is the keyword for the receiver at camp.
In this story:

Los Angeles Rams receiver Cooper Kupp underwent an MRI on his hamstring late Tuesday night after leaving the day’s training camp workout, leaving open the possibility the standout might miss the remainder of summer camp,

The keyword going forward with Kupp? That would be “cautious,” even with ESPN suggesting that “he potentially could be back “for scrimmages in a few weeks.”

Initially, Rams coach Sean McVay said he didn't know what happened to Kupp. Later though, he updated the media by saying, “He looked like he came up a little bit in a red zone route. I just know they told me he was out for practice.”

Kupp, 30, is of course by far the best offensive weapon, with the receivers behind him mostly being unproven. After his historic 2021 "triple-crown'' season, Kupp - considered a top-100 player going in to this season - had 75 receptions for 812 yards and six touchdowns in nine games last season. ... with an injury at the center of his limitations as unfortunately for him and the Rams, a sprained ankle that required surgery ended his season halfway through.

Injuries played a huge part in the Rams' struggles last season, and Kupp's was one of the most devastating. "Caution'' here? Yes, that would be wise.
