Aaron Rodgers should know one when he sees one. So when the four-time NFL MVP quarterback takes to the business of evaluating other QBs? We listen.

“I've been a fan of Lamar Jackson since he was in college,” Rodgers said during his weekly appearance on The Pat McAfee Show. “He's possibly the fastest guy on the field every game and he throws it all over the place.”

Lamar and his Baltimore Ravens are earning all sorts of rave reviews right now as they were the NFL's biggest Week 7 winners as they smashed a contending Detroit Lions team, 38-6.

Ravsns quarterback Jackson put on a sensational display - he was 21 of 27 for 357 yards and three touchdowns passing while adding nine carries for 36 yards and a touchdown on the ground - and the attention he is getting across the NFL is merited ... and as the injured New York Jets quarterback Rodgers points out, has been merited over the course of time.

“The guy has won MVP,'' Rodgers noted, hailing back to Jackson doing so in his his second NFL season. "Sometimes we forget about who Lamar Jackson is. He's a hell of a player.''

On the year, Jackson has completed a career-high 71 percent of his passes for 1,610 yards with eight touchdowns and just three interceptions. And then comes the other facet of his game that is surely "unforgettable'' to defensive coordinators, as he has also rushed for 363 yards and five touchdowns ... and is doing so while averaging 5.3 yards per carry.

Jackson and the Ravens take on the Arizona Cardinals this Sunday, and we're pretty sure the NFL word - and Aaron Rodgers - will be watching.
