Ravens to Conduct Second Interview with Brian Angelichio

Angelichio reportedly also interviewed for the Cowboys' open offensive coordinator position last week.

The Baltimore Ravens' search for an offensive coordinator continues, and some of the candidates are getting second looks.

In January, Baltimore met with Minnesota Vikings passing game coordinator and tight ends coach Brian Angelichio early in the search process to replace Greg Roman.

Thanks in part to Angelichio, the Vikings ranked sixth in the league in passing yards with quarterback Kirk Cousins at the helm. A mid-season trade acquisition in T.J. Hockenson helped at the tight end position and put Angelichio on the offensive coaching map.

While showing proficiency as a position coach, Angelichio has never worked as a play caller in the NFL. He's served as a tight ends coach everywhere he's served, including stints at Tampa Bay, Cleveland, Green Bay, Washington, and Carolina prior to the Vikings.

Angelichio reportedly also interviewed for the Cowboys' open offensive coordinator position last week.

The Ravens' 2023 offense is in question, as quarterback Lamar Jackson continues long-term contract negotiations with the club. But locked in through the 2025 season is All-Pro tight end Mark Andrews, who should continue to be the focal point for the offense until the team can improve the wideouts room.

Also reportedly receiving second interviews with the Ravens are Georgia offensive coordinator Todd Monken and Seahawks' QB coach Dave Canales.
