Can You Watch the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday? Not if You Live in These Areas of the Country

The Baltimore Ravens and Detroit Lions game will be seen by a lot of viewers in random parts of America.
In this story:

Are you a fan of the Baltimore Ravens who doesn't live in the Baltimore area? You're in luck! Unless you live in the wrong area of the country.

The Ravens face the Detroit Lions this Sunday in one of two NFL games featuring a meeting of first-place teams. This game is in the 1 p.m. ET window on FOX, and it is the "national" game during that time slot for the network. Commentators Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen will have the call, and with that being FOX's top broadcast team, it signifies the emphasis the network is placing on this game.

That's the good news. The bad? The broadcast map is a little wonky in certain areas.

Let's see if I can explain this. This week gives CBS, not FOX, the doubleheader of early- and late-afternoon games, so the fans in the blue and orange areas will not get the Ravens game at all (indicated by the red area). The blue area (Steelers and Rams) and orange area (Seahawks and Cardinals) will only get an afternoon game on FOX.

To round out the color map, those in the green area will see the Las Vegas Raiders take on the Chicago Bears, and the yellow area will see the Atlanta Falcons vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

So, if you're not fortunate enough to live in this strangely-drawn red area, you'll have to resort to other means to see the Ravens on Sunday, probably with the likes of NFL Sunday Ticket.
