Ravens AFC North Rival Installing FieldTurf Next Season
The Baltimore Ravens play one game a season at Paycor Stadium, the home of the AFC North rival Cincinnati Bengals. And next season when they arrive, the playing surface will be different.
“Hamilton County and the Bengals are committed to providing a top-level playing surface for NFL games, and this step confirms that commitment,” Paycor Stadium managing director Steve Johnson said in a statement released by the team. “The field will be installed in time for the entire 2024 NFL season.”
When the stadium opened in 2000, the playing surface was natural grass, but from 2004-2011 it was switched to the popular older version of FieldTurf.
Then in 2012 the team installed Act Global synthetic turf until 2018 when that was replaced with Shaw Sports Momentum Pro synthetic turf.
And now, beginning next year, they'll move to the newest form of the FieldTurf.

Those three teams will now join the Falcons, Panthers, Lions, Patriots, Seahawks and Giants/Jets, who also used FieldTurf.
