Stone is set to hit the open market as a free agent when the new league year begins on March 13, leaving his future with the Ravens in question.

He isn't opposed to returning to Charm City, but would like to be a starter wherever he ends up.

“At the end of the day, Baltimore is always home, but business is business,” the Iowa alum said during an interview on NFL Total Access. “You know that being in this league this long. I’ve been through it all, especially my rookie year. I just want to be somewhere I’m appreciated, you know, who wants me and for me to be a starter, whatever it may be. I just want my value to be there.”

3 Value Free Agents That Make Sense For Ravens' Offseason Plan

Last offseason, the Ravens signed Stone to a one-year, $1.76 million deal that saw him hit career marks with seven interceptions, nine pass deflections and 68 tackles. That has raised his market value and could earn him a starting spot at his next stop.

Stone will make more than last season's salary, and the Ravens might not be able to afford to bring him back. Baltimore only has about $5 million worth of cap space for 2024 and probably has higher priorities in free agency.
