Sitting at a satisfying 3-1 a month into the season, Baltimore may dodge another starting quarterback bullet after the injury to Steelers signal caller Kenny Pickett.

Pickett suffered a knee injury in the second half of Pittsburgh's humiliating 30-6 loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday. It looks like Pickett may have avoided serious injury in the form of an ACL tear per NFL Network's Mike Farafolo who said Pickett may return after a "brief absence."

Pickett left the game and did not return after being quickly ruled out by the team. If Pickett is unable to go, the Ravens will face their third consecutive backup quarterback in the form of Mitch Trubisky. Trubisky completed 3 of 5 passes for 18 yards after entering the game for Pickett as the team played from behind.

It was the first action for Trubisky this season. The Steelers' offense struggled the entire day against the resurgent Texans, gaining just 225 total yards on 56 plays including 111 passing and 114 on the ground.

But if Baltimore is to face Trubisky, who is technically a backup even though he has been a bonafide starter in the league, Ravens coach John Harbaugh wants his team to be ready for the task.

"We've played against Mitch before," Harbaugh told reporters. "Obviously he's a heck of a player, and he can make all the plays and all the throws that their offense requires. So, he's a very dangerous player, and we'll have our hands full, and we'll be ready.

After being selected overall in the 2017 NFL Draft, Trubisky has posted a career 64.2 completion percentage, thrown for 11,922 yards, and 68 touchdowns to 43 interceptions.
