Could the Baltimore Ravens make a move for Tennessee Titans All-Pro running back Derrick Henry before the trade deadline?

"The Ravens rank No. 2 in the NFL with 1,015 rushing yards, but they'd plummet to No. 21 by eliminating QB Lamar Jackson's team-high 363 rushing yards," Yardbarker writes. "With starter J.K. Dobbins on injured reserve with a torn Achilles, no Ravens running back averages more than 49.4 yards per game this season. Since becoming a full-time starter in 2018, Henry has averaged 97.7 YPG across 77 games."

The Titans are currently 2-4 and sit at the very bottom of the AFC South, with the Jacksonville Jaguars far ahead in first place at 5-2.

Tennessee has already made a big trade, sending All-Pro safety Kevin Byard to the Philadelphia Eagles for Terrell Edmunds, a 2024 fifth-round pick and a 2024 sixth-round pick.

If they are selling, Henry could be the next to go and the Ravens seem like a likely suitor. Baltimore has the Super Bowl in its sights this season and has looked the part of a contender

"According to Titans insider Buck Reising, the All-Pro running back could be traded and the Baltimore Ravens as seen as the "most interested" team in acquiring him," The Spun writes. "Henry is in the final year of his four-year, $50 million contract and the Titans have made moves that suggest they're going to be sellers rather than buyers."

With J.K. Dobbins missing the rest of the season due to an Achilles tear, there is a need for a clear No. 1 running back, and Henry would fill that need. This season, Henry has had 98 carries for 425 yards and three touchdowns while adding 11 receptions for 117 yards. The Titans have given a good amount of touches to rookie running back Tyjae Spears with Henry completely healthy, which may be a sign they are almost ready to move on.

Henry has been one of the best running backs in the NFL over the past four seasons, making three Pro Bowls and winning Offensive Player of the Year in 2020.
