Ex Ravens WR Hollywood Brown Signs with Chiefs
Former Baltimore Ravens first-round draft pick, wideout Marquise "Hollywood" Brown, has a new home.
The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Thursday that they have agreed to terms with Brown on a one-year deal, per multiple reports. The deal is worth a reported $11 million.
Brown arrived in Baltimore via the 2019 NFL Draft when the Ravens selected him No. 25 overall in the first round and played for three seasons in Charm City. The Oklahoma Sooner was traded to the Arizona Cardinals during the 2022 draft when the Ravens moved down two spots to select center Tyler Linderbaum.
Since making the move to Arizona, Brown has dealt with injuries and his productivity has dwindled.
Brown's best season in Baltimore was in 2021 when he caught 91 balls on 146 targets for 1,008 yards and six touchdowns.
'Keep Watching!' Ravens New RB Sends Message to Doubters
Brown's name has been linked back to the Ravens the past two seasons when it was thought they'd be interested in bringing him back to add depth back to the receivers room, but when the team drafted Boston College's Zay Flowers in 2023, those rumors halted.
The Chiefs needed a receiver after releasing Marquez Valdes-Scantling last month. Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes posted on social media that he was happy with the signing.
