'Keep Watching!' Ravens New RB Derrick Henry Sends Message to Doubters
Former Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry signed a brand new two-year, $16 million deal with the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday, and was introduced as the newest Raven on Thursday.
The two-time NFL rushing champion has played a significant amount of football during his eight seasons in the league, and some have given the opinion that he's washed up.
Henry has carried the ball 2,030 times during his career for 9,502 yards. But the 30-year-old says he's not done yet and still has plenty of gas left in the tank.
“Tell them to keep watching," Henry said of his critics.
The four-time Pro Bowler isn't worried about the supposed "devaluation" of running backs in the league, either. His message was short, but clear.
General manager Eric DeCosta said of Henry, "He's kind of a unicorn. This guy is a warrior. He’s right up there with the very best that we’ve ever had.”

In addition to his four Pro Bowls, the former Alabama Crimson Tide back is a former AP Offensive Player of the Year in 2020 when he eclipsed the 2,000-yard mark, and a former first-team All-Pro and second-team All-Pro.
Henry has passed the 1,000-yard mark five times in his eight seasons, including the past two when he rushed for 1,538 and 1,167, respectively.
