The Baltimore Ravens moved one step closer to clinching the No. 1 seed in the AFC after a 23-7 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

In a game where the Jaguars routinely shot themselves in the foot as two missed field goals and a fumble on three straight possessions in the first half coupled with poor time management on the half's final drive that saw the Jaguars get down to the Ravens' five yard line as time expired, it all came back to bite them.

Baltimore only allowed a single touchdown in the second half while scoring 13 points of their own as they put distance between themselves and Jacksonville.

For quarterback Lamar Jackson, he doesn't want anyone underselling what the Ravens did to the Jaguars in their own building.

“I believe just getting started,” Jackson said. “That was a tough team you know that was a great team we just played you can't downplay what was going on out there on that field. Even though was double-digit score but that was a tough team, things just don't happen like that in the league. So you got to be prepared each and every drive each and every play you got to stay focused and I believe both teams were.”

The Ravens had more total yards (396), won the turnover battle, were better on third down (41 percent efficiency), and won time of possession by nearly nine minutes.

All of that adds up to a 23-7 win on the road.

While the win over Jacksonville was good, the Ravens now have to turn their attention to their next outing...and it's a daunting one as they face the San Francisco 49ers in Santa Clara.

Lamar says the team is just getting started, and they will get a true test of their Super Bowl credentials when they face Kyle Shanahan's juggernaut.
