Ravens RB Justice Hill to Take 'Full Advantage' of New Opportunity

Baltimore Ravens running back J.K. Dobbins was lost for the season due to an Achilles injury, that means an opportunity for Justice Hill, and it's one he's hellbent on taking.

As the saying goes, when one door closes, another opens, and for Baltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill, the door of opportunity has swung open, albeit at the cost of a teammate's season.

With J.K. Dobbins being lost for the season due to an Achilles injury suffered in Week 1 against the Houston Texans, Hill now gets an opportunity to show what he can do in Todd Monken's offense...and he's hellbent on making it count.

“You always ready for opportunity,” Hill said. “Now the opportunity is here, you [got to] execute. I’m excited, I have been here for four, five years now and I’ve been waiting for this opportunity, so I’m going to take full advantage.”

Having been taken in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Ravens, Hill cut his teeth as a special teamer, something that he has done for the last few years.

But he knew he was meant for much more.

However, such is the kind of teammate he is, Hill was happy to do anything to help the team win. But now he has more on his offensive plate, he's ready to go make it count.

“I mean it’s tough, but when you are part of a team, you just want the team to win,” Hill said. “Last four years, they have been calling me heavy on special teams and I’m going to give it my all no matter where I’m at because I just want to win. Now getting called to do more responsibilities at RB (running back), the same goal, just trying to win, help the team win, and trying to get to the Super Bowl.”

The Ravens face their fierce division rivals in the Cincinnati Bengals as they look to start the season 2-0. Hill will be a focal point of the offense in Dobbins' absence but he isn't shying away from what is in front of him...he's running head-first into the fire.

“Definitely been waiting on this for a while, I have always been on God’s time, I’m always ready,” Hill said. “Show the world now.”
