Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson spoke about the comparisons that Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson made ahead of their matchup.

"I'm gonna be honest," Jackson said. "That made me feel old, I'm only 26. He compared me, himself and Cam. I'm like 'Dang comparing yourself to me?' I'm still young. But I appreciate stuff like that and I did see him a couple times in college and he played phenomenal."

Richardson and the Colts will be traveling to Baltimore to take on the Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium on Sept. 24 at 1 p.m. Indianapolis' rookie quarterback could miss the game due to a concussion he suffered in Week 2 against the Houston Texans. Before the injury, he had gone 6-for-10 for 56 passing yards and picked up two rushing touchdowns with his legs.

Jackson has been one of the best overall runners in the NFL since he was drafted by the Ravens at the end of the first round of the 2018 Draft. Richardson showed flashes of that same rushing ability while he was in college at the University of Florida.

The rookie quarterback compared his rushing style to that of Jackson and former MVP quarterback Cam Newton. Newton was one of the most prolific running quarterbacks in NFL history while he was in his prime at the Carolina Panthers, even leading the team to a 15-1 season and an appearance in Super Bowl 50.

If Richardson has a career that is anything like that of Newton or Jackson, Colts fans everywhere will be ecstatic.
