Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson Close to Passing NFL Legend

Lamar Jackson has a chance to make history on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.

When Lamar Jackson takes the field on Sunday, he'll have a chance to make history.

The Baltimore Ravens (7-2) quarterback currently sits at No. 5 all-time in quarterback rushing yards with 4,877. If he can run for 52 yards against the Cleveland Browns, he'll surpass Randall Cunningham, who ran for 4,928 yards in his career. If Jackson passes Cunningham on Sunday, he'll only trail Russell Wilson (5,167), Cam Newton (5,628) and Michael Vick (6,109) on the all-time rushing list for quarterbacks.

Jackson has run for over 51 yards in a game four times this season.

Jackson has run for 440 yards and five touchdowns this season. Jackson only trails running back Gus Edwards (478) for the most rushing yards on the team. Baltimore leads the NFL in rushing yards per game with 160.3.

Lamar Jackson had 10 carries for 60 yards against the Seattle Seahawks.

If Jackson is going to break the record on Sunday, he'll have to do it against one of the best defenses in football when he faces the Cleveland Browns. The Browns' (5-3) defense has allowed the fewest yards per game this season, with 234.8, and they're tied for sixth in fewest rushing yards allowed per game with 89.8.

In their previous meeting on Oct. 1 at Cleveland Browns Stadium, Jackson only ran for 27 yards, his second-lowest total of the season, though he scored two touchdowns on the ground. Baltimore went on to win the game 28-3.

Baltimore will look to further itself from the pack in the AFC North and extend its win streak to five games when they host the Browns at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium.
