Ravens Offense 'Getting in Sync' Ahead of Texans Showdown Says Lamar Jackson

The Baltimore Ravens offense stuttered early in the season, but Lamar Jackson says the unit is now in sync as the playoffs begin.

The Baltimore Ravens' assault on the playoffs will begin with a tricky assignment as the Houston Texans and C.J. Stroud come to M&T Bank Stadium.

Having already played Houston this season in Week 1, a game that Baltimore won 25-9, things have changed for both teams

The Texans under Stroud improved with each week, while for Baltimore, the offense under Todd Monken got better as they scored 30+ points eight times this season. Also, the Ravens won 10 out of their last 11 games (excluding the Steelers' loss in Week 18 as some starters didn't play).

Now, as the Ravens gear up for their Divisional Round clash, Jackson says the offense is better than the version Houston saw in Week 1.

“We changed a lot as well," Jackson said. "Just getting better and better you know with our scheme and just being one unit. We had a bunch of new pieces as well on offense but we definitely getting in sync now.”

The Ravens at the close of the regular season had the fourth-best offense in terms of points scored (28.4/g) as Jackson has a host of weapons to pick defenses apart with.

Rookie Zay Flowers, Odell Beckham Jr., Nelson Agholor, Rashod Bateman, Isaiah Likely, and Mark Andrews, along with running backs Gus Edwards and Justice Hill all have the talent to cause serious headaches for opposing defenses.

The Texans will have a tough time curtailing them all, as Jackson, in Monken's system has done a good job of distributing the ball to all of his weapons.

Will Dalvin Cook, Devin Duvernay, and Mark Andrews Be Ready for Ravens vs. Texans?

But this is the playoffs, and while Baltimore are favorites, as we saw in the Wildcard Round, anything can happen so the Ravens need to be locked in and ready to get down to business.

Jackson says the offense is "in sync" and against the Texans in a win-or-go-home game, we will see just how connected they are when the pressure is magnified.
