Where Do Baltimore Ravens Land in Latest NFL Power Rankings?
The Baltimore Ravens played earlier than the rest of the league in Week 11, taking down the Cincinnati Bengals in Thursday night's AFC North battle.
How did that win affect the Ravens' standing in the newest edition of the NFL power rankings? Sports Illustrated released its updated list for the league on Tuesday, and Baltimore comes in at No. 7 on the list, sandwiched between the Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins.
You can see the full list here and find an excerpt from the piece below.
"The Ravens come off a bye week following a disappointing loss to the Browns, but still own one of the better Super Bowl-caliber rosters in the NFL. Their upcoming schedule, starting with a (potentially) sneakily frustrating game against the Los Angeles Chargers, doesn’t let up through the entirety of December."
Baltimore appears to be one of the most complete teams in the NFL, featuring an electric offense and dangerous defense, but this analysis is right: the late schedule for the Ravens is brutal.
Still, a win over the Bengals is a nice bounce back from the heart-wrenching loss to Cleveland, and the Ravens took home the victory in convincing fashion, winning by two scores. It will be critical for that momentum to continue down the stretch for Lamar Jackson and company in this dangerous portion of the season.
Ravens Move To One Seed After Chiefs Loss
Baltimore did receive some good news on Monday as well as the Kansas City Chiefs fell to the Philadelphia Eagles, giving the Ravens the current holding of the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
The Ravens are not taking the field on Thanksgiving, but they will see action again on Sunday when they travel to Los Angeles to face the Chargers on Sunday Night Football, marking back-to-back primetime games for Baltimore.
Kickoff in that contest is slated for 8:20 p.m. ET, and the game will be televised on NBC.
