Ravens Offense Cover Mark Andrews Loss in Win Over Los Angeles Chargers

The Baltimore Ravens did enough to scrape past the Los Angeles Chargers 20-10 at SoFi Stadium, with the offense having several contributors.

The Baltimore Ravens secured a 20-10 win over the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium and maintained the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

The Raven knew that it would take the entire offensive unit to cover for the output of All-Pro tight end Mark Andrews, who is lost for at least, the rest of the regular season.

With an abundance of weapons, Lamar Jackson had enough around him to help alleviate the loss of his security blanket.

Jackson seemed to find another favorite target in young tight end Isaiah Likely. The former Coastal Carolina tight end caught four first-half passes for 40 yards as his RAC (run after the catch) ability was on show.

Likely had completions two completions over 10+ yards in the first half as he looked to be a viable option for Jackson as he was targeted six times.

Odell Beckham Jr., on his return to SoFi for the first time since injuring his ACL, was also making his presence known in the first half, catching three passes for 34 yards as the Ravens held a halftime lead.

Rookie Zay Flowers, was relatively quiet in the passing game (5 rec, 25 yards, 1 TD), but it was his 37-yard run late in the fourth quarter that iced the game.

Add to that, Nelson Agholor's 21-yard reception on a 2nd and 22 helped keep the drive alive for Baltimore, as it was an offense by committee.

The rushing attack, was again the focal point as rookie Keaton Mitchell (9 att, 64 yards,) Jackson (11 att, 39 yards), Justice Hill (5 att, 31 yards), and Gus Edwards (8 att, 26 yards) all contributed to the win with 35 combined rushing attempts.

The Ravens now move to 9-3 on the season and enter their bye week winning six out of their last seven games, and in the process, found out that when everyone plays their role, they will be tough to beat going forward.
