Ravens 'Have Crazy Receivers!' - Odell Beckham Jr.
The Baltimore Ravens have added some key weapons to surround Lamar Jackson with this season and none more explosive than Odell Beckham Jr.
But while OBJ takes all the headlines in Baltimore, there are a host of weapons at Lamar's disposal that should frighten opposing defenses. And Beckham Jr. is excited to work with his new team as training camp begins.
"I'm excited about this team, we have a crazy team, crazy receivers," Beckham said via the team's website. "I'm excited. I'm excited. It's been a long time having to sit out and watch other people and not get to play. I've been waiting for this moment for a long time."
Odell is joining a receiver room brimming with talent. The returning Rashod Bateman, draftee Zay Flowers, free agent Nelson Agholor and tight end Mark Andrews - who is Jackson's ultimate security blanket and go-to guy over the last couple of seasons.
With Beckham Jr. coming off yet another ACL injury, many think that his best days are behind him. After all, it is easy to forget that prior to his injury in the Super Bowl, for many, he had two hands on the Super Bowl MVP trophy.
But Odell does have a message for those doubting him as he gears up for training camp for the Ravens - he's as resilient as they come.
"I think I've always been like this, always looking to be motivated, looking to be great," Beckham Jr. said. "So I think at the end of the day, my story will be about resiliency and just being able to bounce back time after time."
It is clear that Beckham Jr.'s story in the NFL isn't over and after working to get his body back to a point where he can be involved in training camp from the outset means we might see the best version of Odell this season.
Already with "crazy" receivers, a healthy Beckham Jr. might just be the best of the bunch as he writes his comeback story.
