Baltimore Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith took the blame for the discouraging 17-10 road loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

"Honestly man, it's part of what happens," Smith said. "We didn't do enough to get the job done and that's how I look at it and I'm sure that's how the other defensive guys look at it at the end of the day. And that's all we can do, just gotta learn and get better from it."

Baltimore's defense played well for most of the game, holding the Steelers to just three points through the first three quarters. After a safety in the beginning of the fourth quarter made it 10-5, something seemed to have flipped for Pittsburgh.

The Steelers scored on each of their ensuing three possessions starting with a field goal after the safety to make it 10-8. A 41-yard touchdown pass down the right sideline from Kenny Pickett to George Pickens gave them a 14-10 lead and after recovering a Lamar Jackson fumble, another field goal extended the lead to 17-10 and secured the win.

In the loss, Smith led the team in tackles with 11. It was the third-straight game that the All-Pro linebacker either led the team in tackles or was tied for the team-lead in tackles and the fourth time in five games that he has done it.

At 3-2, the Ravens are still tied for first place in the AFC North with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

"It's a long season man, it's the NFL and at the end of the day, what, 3-2, 2-1 in the division so, you know, this game it sucks at the end of the day but we just have to look at it as a learning experience," Smith said. "Take the positives from it and build off the negatives and that's all we can do in this game. We just look forward to getting over to London, learning from this and moving on to the Titans."

Next up for Baltimore is a trip across the pond to take on the Tennessee Titans in London. The game will be on Oct. 15 at 9:30 a.m. and will take place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
