'Guess He Wanted More Views!' Mike Florio Dressed Down By Lamar Jackson After Ravens' 33-19 Beat Down Of 49ers

PFT's Mike Florio overstepped his role once again by making himself the story before the game ever started. And got called out afterward.

Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio has made a career out of breaking boundaries as a member of the media and making himself a story. And why not re-solidify that fact on Christmas?

Florio didn't hold back anything when he gave his prediction for the Christmas day matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium.

“The 49ers kick the (expletive) out of the Ravens on Monday night. I’m sorry. I know that’s disrespectful to the Ravens, but let’s be realistic. They’ve got to fly across the country on Christmas night, and the 49ers are waiting. And the 49ers are going to dismantle the Ravens,” Florio said.

How'd that work out for you Florio? Once again we see you should put your law degree to use rather than rely on whatever sports knowledge you think you have.

After the Ravens dismantled the 49ers 33-19 Monday night, Baltimore quarterback and leading MVP candidate made sure that Florio knew he heard the pre-game prediction.

“Damn, Mike Flores! What was his name? Mike Flores?” said Jackson, seemingly referring to Florio’s comments as he was heard saying as the team walked back to the locker room after the on-field shellacking.

Jackson continued the undressing of Florio while speaking to media after the game.

“You can’t just discredit us. We’re grown men, we’ve got to feed our families. He can have his opinion, but don’t be just talking like that. That’s disrespectful. That’s very disrespectful,” said Jackson.

“He needs to just keep doing his job, but don’t come off like that towards us. Because that’s disrespectful, like I said. Because he ain’t putting them pads on. If he were putting them pads on I feel like it’d be different for him. ... We’re respectful to our opponents. Our opponents are respectful to us. But a guy who is not even playing against us gonna come out being disrespectful. I guess he wanted a little more views on his little channel. We’re gonna leave it at that.”

Jackson's Ravens picked off Purdy four times in the game, and his replacement another time. Not only did the win solidify Baltimore as the team to beat in the NFL, it also thrust Jackson ahead of Purdy for the favorite to win the NFL MVP.
