The Baltimore Ravens welcome the Detroit Lions to M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday, in a matchup of two top teams in the NFL. The Ravens are fresh off a home 23-16 win over the Tennessee Titans in London, while the Lions left Tampa last week with a 20-6 dismantling of the Buccaneers.

The last time these two teams met, two seasons ago, the Lions were in a very different place. Coach Dan Campbell was still seeking his first win as the Ravens visited Ford Field in Week 3. It took a 66-yard Justin Tucker field goal to push Baltimore past the Lions. Campbell wouldn't get his first win until Week 12 that season with a 29-27 win over Minnesota.

“I just remember thinking over and over it’s like enjoy it now, just enjoy it now because our time will come, and we’ve just got to get through the hard stuff,” Campbell said this week. “And here we go, man. We’ve got an opportunity. We’re in year three of this program, we’re 5-1 and we’ve got to go earn the next win.

“Everything that happens, happens for a reason and it helps you grow,” Campbell said. "If it doesn’t, it’s because you don’t know how to grow. So, we’ve taken our lumps and we’re going to be better for it.”

Now, in the rematch of that heartbreaking loss, this is a contest between division leaders. The Lions are one of five teams to share the league's best record at 5-1, while the Ravens lead the AFC North at 4-2.

The Lions have won 13 of their last 16 games, and hope to enjoy a long playoff run.

“You just know you’re going to get your best shot from them. This is a team that’s been rolling since the end of last year,” Ravens safety Geno Stone said. “I feel like they have a head coach that’s a fiery head coach that’s going to get their guys going, so we just have to know that we’re going to get the best out of all those guys.”
