Baltimore Ravens Welcome a Pair of Defensive Standouts Back to Practice
The Baltimore Ravens welcomed a couple of players back to practice on Thursday in preparation for the matchup against the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
Linebacker Jadeveon Clowney sat out all of practice on Wednesday but returned on Thursday as a full participant. Defensive end Brent Urban missed Wednesday's practice too, listed with a neck injury, but returned for a limited practice on Thursday.
Clowney was listed with a knee issue and veteran rest.
Corner Ronald Darby was added to the injury report with an illness. Fellow corner Kevon Seymour and Marcus Williams both missed their second day of practice on Thursday as Seymour is nursing an ankle injury while Williams is dealing with a hamstring.
Linebacker Malik Harrison returned from concussion protocol on Thursday while edge rusher Odafe Oweh was also a full participant as he returned from an ankle issue.
Clowney has registered 3.5 sacks, 13 tackles with 10 solo and four for loss, and nine quarterback hits through six games this season. The three-time Pro Bowler is in his first season in Baltimore, his fifth team since coming into the league in 2014.
The Ravens are preparing for the 5-1 Lions on Sunday, in a matchup between Detroit's top-5 offense and Baltimore's top-5 defense.
Eleven different players have at least one sack for the Ravens. The pass rush unit has been led by defensive tackle Justin Madubuike (4.5), linebacker Patrick Queen (3.5), outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (3.5) and safety Kyle Hamilton (3).
Baltimore had six sacks in its 24-16 win over the Tennessee Titans in London.
