Baltimore Ravens WATCH: Odell Beckham Jr., Lamar Jackson Go Off Script During Sunday Night Football Player Introductions
The Baltimore Ravens needed a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday Night to be the first AFC team to clinch a playoff spot. But the players for the Ravens appeared anything but tense and stressed at the situation before the game, as evidenced by some fun had by two star players.
Wideout Odell Beckham Jr. and quarterback Lamar Jackson both had some fun with the player introductions that are pre-recorded to air at the beginning of the game.
Rather than the typical name and university affiliation that most players offer to promote themselves and that's been tradition for several decades, Beckham Jr. and Jackson went a different way.
Jackson said “ball ’til you fall” rather than name his college, which is Louisville. And Beckham said “Himothy University” rather than LSU.
OBJ's choice of terms is a play on the wildly popular use of the slang "Him" which a lot of athletes use to promote themselves, "I'm Him." Jackson's choice of terms is a little more curious, although he's made a name for himself with his sense of humor in recent years.
The Ravens came out on top of a 23-7 tilt and became the first AFC team to clinch a spot in the upcoming postseason.

Jackson threw for 171 yards on 14-of-24 passing with one touchdown and one interception while Beckham Jr. caught one ball on three targets for 14 yards.
While Baltimore has clinched a spot in the playoffs, it has the No. 1 seed in sight meaning it would enjoy a bye in Round 1, shortening the path to the goal of a Super Bowl appearance.
