Baltimore Ravens Week 13 Rooting Guide

The Baltimore Ravens are off in Week 13 but other games around the league will have implications on the standings in the AFC.
In this story:

The Ravens will enjoy their Sunday off and most likely some will be watching NFL action from their living rooms just like the rest of us. And while the team won't be on the field, other games will affect where Baltimore is in the standings at the end of the day.

Entering Week 13, Baltimore holds the No. 1 seed in the AFC at 9-3, the only team in the conference with at least nine wins. The current playoff seeding is as follows: 1. Baltimore (9-3), 2. Kansas City (8-3), 3. Jacksonville (8-3), 4. Miami (8-3), 5. Pittsburgh (7-4), 6. Cleveland (7-4), and 7. Indianapolis (6-5).

Let's take a look at some games to watch on Sunday where Ravens fans have a rooting interest.

Miami Dolphins (8-3) at Washington Commanders (4-8) - 1 p.m. ET - FOX

The Ravens are the No. 1 seed right NOW, but that would change with a Dolphins win over the Commanders at FedEx Field. Miami takes over that spot by virtue of conference tiebreakers. Baltimore and the Dolphins will match up on Dec. 31, but a loss here by Miami would go a long way for the Ravens. Who to root for: Washington

Arizona Cardinals (2-10) at Pittsburgh Steelers (7-4) - 1 p.m. ET - CBS

The Steelers are just two games back of the Ravens in the North, and who doesn't enjoy a good Steelers loss? Who to root for: Arizona

Kansas City Chiefs (8-3) at Green Bay Packers (5-6) - 8:20 p.m. ET - NBC

A Chiefs win puts them in the driver's seat in the AFC, regardless of what happens everywhere else. Baltimore may need a couple of Kansas City losses the rest of the way to be comfortably in charge of the No. 1 seed. Who to root for: Green Bay

Cleveland Browns (7-4) at Los Angeles Rams (5-6) - 4:25 p.m. ET - FOX

Just like the Steelers, the Browns are hot on the trail of the Ravens - just two games behind for the division lead. With Joe Flacco leading Cleveland, it shouldn't be too hard to cheer against him in those colors. Who to root for: Los Angeles
