The Baltimore Ravens first-round draft pick, Zay Flowers, recently signed his rookie contract with the team and is taking the celebration home with him.

Flowers signed a four-year, $14 million fully guaranteed deal on Wednesday, and is celebrating with his family. And what a celebration it is. Flowers is the 11th of 14 children, and the family is very close.

The 22-year-old rookie is from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and that's where the family still lives. And the family is still very close.

"The best part about growing up with so many brothers and sisters is that you're never alone, and they're my best friends," Flowers said via the team's website.

The family has dealt with tragedy after the death of Flowers' mother when he was just five, and now they're celebrating a bit of triumph with Flowers' new contact.

"My father said when you start something, you always finish it," Flowers added. "I used to see him get up and go to work at 4 a.m. in the morning; he did that every day Monday through Friday ... So, just seeing him do that, it gave me my drive."

Like many professional athletes do as a form of thank you, Flowers tied to buy his father a new house, but the senior Flowers refused. The Boston College product instead bought a new Mercedes SUV and offered it to his father, who accepted.

Zay Flowers has been playing football since the age of four, and finally, he can celebrate with his family.
