Ravens 'Ready to Roll' vs. Bengals

The Baltimore Ravens face the Cincinnati Bengals in an AFC North heavyweight clash, and Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is ready for the fight on Sunday.

The Baltimore Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals are coming off polar opposite Week 1 outings. The Ravens took care of the Houston Texans 25-9, while the Bengals were taught a lesson by the Cleveland Browns, losing 24-3.

But that means nothing as the two teams face each other for a remarkable third time in four games dating back to last season (Week 18, Wildcard Round, and now Week 2) and Ravens coach John Harbaugh is looking forward to the challenge on Sunday.

“We’re excited for the opportunity,” Harbaugh said. “Can’t wait to go play the game, we respect the team, we respect the environment. We know we got our work cut out for us, but we also feel like we’re up for it. We’re ready to go roll and let’s go see what happens.”

The Ravens' offense under Todd Monken was a little scratchy against the Texans as the new scheme will no doubt take some time to get used to.

Lamar Jackson completed 17 of his 22 passes for only 169 yards and an interception, while Zay Flowers caught nine of Jackson's 17 passes.

It wasn't the smoothest outing and not all of Baltimore's offensive weapons got going, but Harbaugh is simply happy having so many weapons for Jackson to utilize.

“I’m just happy that we have a lot of guys,” Harbaugh said. “We got a lot of options, Lamar’s got some places to go with the ball, we can run the ball. Just can’t wait to see the guys play.”

The Ravens will be looking to take a stranglehold on the AFC North with a win and in the process, hand the Bengals and Joe Burrow their second consecutive 0-2 start to the season.
