DeAndre Hopkins Trade to Ravens In Play, Insists Pacman Jones 'Sources'

"Baltimore ..." Pacman Jones reveals (assuming this is a "revelation'' and not a "bit''. "My sources said that (DeAndre Hopkins to the Ravens) could still happen."
In this story:

We still wonder, as it relates to former Pro Bowl cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones making his admittedly entertaining appearances on the "Pat McAfee Show," if the whole thing is supposed to be sort of a comedy bit ... or if Pacman - who is surely friendly with a host of NFL players - is actually offering newsy insight.

But either way, Pacman is at it again, the controversial former NFL cornerback insisting that the Baltimore Ravens - even following the Odell Beckham Jr. signing and even as they struggle to accomplish the same with Lamar Jackson - are in play to acquire DeAndre Hopkins.

That's right; appearing again on the "Pat McAfee Show," Jones is again citing "sources'' and telling the football world say that a Hopkins move to the Ravens is still on the table.

"Baltimore ..." Pacman revealed (assuming this is a "revelation'' and not a "bit''. "My sources said that could still happen."

This is not the first time Jones has gone down this road, so his tune has not changed. Also unchanged are the obstacles: Where do the Cardinals want to send him, if they truly do opt for a trade? (Hopkins recently used "body language'' and indicated he likes the Bills and Chiefs, though it's not quite up to him). How much does Arizona want in a deal? (The Cardinals have been asking for a second-round pick in this NFL Draft, with no bites.)

And one more thing, from the Ravens perspective: As brilliant a receiver as Hopkins is - he has the eighth-most receiving yards through a player's first 10 seasons in NFL history with 11,298, and the fourth-most receptions after a player's first 10 seasons with 853 - can Baltimore really figure out a way to squeeze OBJ, Jackson and "Nuk'' into the same salary cap puzzle?

Pacman's "sources'' - and again, we say this advisedly, because that terms insists that Jones has multiple people with credible information here, which seems dubious - say it is so. ... Or, they're all getting a big laugh out of a TV comedy act.
