The NFL world will watch today as the Baltimore Ravens under head coach John Harbaugh try to make their first move in these playoffs with a home meeting with the Houston Texans.

On another level, the NFL world is watching the Coaching Carousel, and a Harbaugh is center-stage there as well.

When the University of Michigan - coached by Jim - faced Washington in the national title game on Jan. 8, Ravens coach John was on the sideline to support his brother.

And now, Jim plans to return the favor.

According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the plan is for Jim to be in Baltimore for this afternoon's playoff game between the Ravens and Texans. ... all part of his busy week that seems him interviewing with the Chargers and Falcons for their head-coaching vacancies - while also maybe considering a return to Michigan. (There are those who think that is his ultimate goal, with the threat of him returning to the NFL nothing more than a contract leverage game.)

What does John think of the Carousel?

Ravens Offense 'Getting in Sync' Ahead of Texans Showdown

"I know Michigan has been a joy for him to go back to his alma mater,'' John said. "His family loves it there. The players love him. He loves the players, coaches and the fan base. I don’t know exactly what direction he’s going to go. ...

"I think at the end he’s going to do whatever’s best for him and his family. He loves Michigan, but he loves the NFL, too. So, we’ll just have to see."
