Odell Beckham Jr. Key to Ravens Signing Lamar Jackson?

The Ravens were just one of a handful of NFL teams present at Odell Beckham Jr.'s workout in Arizona, but do they have concrete interest?
In this story:

The Baltimore Ravens have somewhat secured Lamar Jackson's future after they slapped the non-exclusive franchise tag on their quarterback.

With that sorted, another issue can now be addressed, weapons for Jackson.

On Friday, Baltimore was one team present for Odell Beckham Jr.'s private workout for NFL teams in Arizona. While this doesn't mean the Ravens are IN on the receiver, it is pointing that way.

Being at the workout means that there is at least interest in the free-agent pass catcher, and with essentially only tight end Mark Andrews scaring defenses, Baltimore needs another weapon.

Does that come in the form of Beckham Jr.?

Given that he is a free agent, no draft capital will be needed to secure a deal. Additionally, salary-wise, if reports are to be believed, Odell could be available for as little as $13 million APY.

Indeed that makes any proposed deal very appealing to Baltimore.

While the Dallas Cowboys have been heavily linked with the star receiver, could Baltimore swoop in?

The need for another weapon is likely high on the Ravens' wish list, and looking at the offensive output from last year, it was mostly Andrews or bust.

The tight end managed 847 receiving yards, with the next best being Demarcus Robinson on 458 yards. That is a severe drop, thus help is needed.

So, the Ravens attended Beckham Jr.'s workout and seemingly have a fleeting interest in the receiver. Still, if that were to morph into substantial interest, then Baltimore would have something to work with offensively (assuming Lamar sticks around).

Oh...

And that might be the thing that gets Jackson to sign on that dotted line.
