As a standout commentator on ESPN, former Baltimore Ravens superstar Shannon Sharpe uses his mouth to make very lucrative living.

And good thing, because Sharpe is now revealing that he's got a every expensive mouth.

The Hall of Famer Sharpe recently interviewed gospel legend Kirk Franklin on Shannon's "Club Shay Shay" podcast, and it was during their conversation when the former tight end revealed that he's spent over $100,000 ...

On his teeth.

"Kirk, I got $130,000 (invested) with veneers and implants," Shannon said.

Franklin not only seemed astounded, but also good-naturedly questioned Sharpe's oral obsession. He asked Sharpe about caring for those $130,000 choppers, wondering how often, for instance, Shannon brushes his teeth.

Sharpe's answer? He said he does so seven to 10 times a day.

"That's cruel to the teeth, to the toothbrush,'' Franklin chided. "I think you need therapy. ... Brush your teeth in the morning, brush your teeth before you go to bed, and keep it moving!''

Franklin may have a good point; we'd have to check with our dentist to know for certain. But we will say this about Sharpe: His high-level tooth care does fit with the rest of his appearance, as he is a workout demon and is always dressed in a flashy but classy manner.

Sharpe is a busy guy as he's made his move from the failed Skip Bayless Show on FS1 to ESPN. But as he is making clear here: He's never too busy to take care of his teeth.
