Tennessee Titans WR Treylon Burks Could Be Ready vs. Baltimore Ravens in London
Tennessee Titans wideout Treylon Burks has missed the last two weeks with a knee injury after posting six catches for 99 yards over the opening three games of the season. But it looks like Burks may take the field against the Ravens as the two teams prepare to take the field in London for the NFL's next feature in the International Series.
Titans coach Mike Vrabel said “we’ll see” if Burks can return in Week 6, but it sounds like he’ll at least be able to get on the practice field. Vrabel's team will practice at home in Nashville on Wednesday and Thursday before hopping on a plane and taking off for London and arriving on Friday.
Burks has been dealing with a knee injury he suffered in the preseason, but was able to take part in the team's first three contests. After the loss to the Browns in Week 3, Burks donned a knee brace and hasn't practiced or taken the field since.
Burks was drafted by Tennessee with the 18th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft after the Titans sent wideout A.J. Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles. Burks, who played collegiately at Arkansas, drew comparisons to Brown during the draft process.
The Ravens hope to bounce back from a 17-10 loss to the Steelers last week where the new Todd Monken offense completely let the team down. After putting up points totals of 25, 27, 19 and 28 in the first four games, quarterback Lamar Jackson and Co. scored just 10 points in the loss.
All of Baltimore's points came in the first half, with Pittsburgh shutting them out for the rest of the game. Its offense turned the ball over three times and only converted one out of three red zone trips.
