With just under three minutes left in the first half, Edwards took a hand-off from quarterback Lamar Jackson and powered up the middle from three yards out for a touchdown, his second of the game.

His first touchdown came in earlier in the same quarter, when he hit a big hole opened up by his offensive line and made it to the end zone before he ever took contact.

Thanks to Edwards' finishing ability, Baltimore headed into the half with a 17-3 lead over 5-2 Seattle. His line in the first half was four carries for 10 yards and two touchdowns. Despite the two scores, Jackson is the leading rusher for the team with eight carries for 61 yards.

This is Edwards' second game in a row with multiple touchdowns after he scorched the Arizona Cardinals in Week 8. Against the Cardinals, he had 19 carries which he turned into 80 yards and a career-high three touchdowns.

Edwards took over the starting role for the Ravens after J.K. Dobbins suffered a season-ending injury in Week 1. Coming into the game against the Seahawks, he had recorded 426 rushing yards and five touchdowns along with 107 receiving yards. Now, he has brought his season total to seven touchdowns through eight and a half games.

There was some rumors going around before the NFL trade deadline that Baltimore was trying to trade for star running back Derrick Henry, but now that the deadline has passed, it seems as though Edwards will be the starter for the rest of the season barring unforeseen circumstances.
