Saints Hold 14th Pick In the 2024 NFL Draft

Here's where the Saints will be picking when the draft rolls around at the end of April.
In this story:

The Saints will pick 14th overall in the draft after everything that unfolded during Week 18. New Orleans finished second in the division after knocking off the Falcons to finish 9-8 on the year, however they were eliminated from the playoffs after the Packers knocked off the Bears in the afternoon slate of games. Here's a look at the team's current draft situation, as we officially enter into offseason mode.

Saints Current 2024 Draft Picks

  • Round 1
  • Round 2 (via Broncos)
  • Round 5
  • Round 6
  • Round 7 (via Broncos)

New Orleans could pick up another three picks via the league's compensatory process from free agents Kaden Elliss, David Onyemata and Marcus Davenport. Obviously, they could also gain extra from trading any of their players, but that remains to be seen. The NFL Draft is in Detroit this year and will happen April 25-27.

What Does the Future Hold for the Saints?

Since the Saints are now moving into their offseason, we should expect to see them debrief and evaluate soon enough. Reserve/future deals should be right around the corner for the team. The Senior Bowl will be at the end of January and the Scouting Combine will be at the end of February.
